AGENDA

1:00-1:15 – Welcome and Chapter Business
1:15-2:00 – SA Michael Melcher, FBI Civil Rights Investigations, Presentation of the FBI Civil Rights program, which includes Hate Crimes, Color of Law, and Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act violations. SSA Melcher will focus on Color of Law investigations to include how and when the FBI opens an investigation.
2:00-2:30 – Sean Boylan and Greg Boosalis, Quantico Police Training: Crisis Response, Conflict Management and Cultural Diversity
2:30-3:30 – Shane Zahn: Policing and Partnerships, The private sector security community has collaborated for years with local, county and federal law enforcement in a variety of ways, with extra effort devoted to special events like the Republican National Convention and the Superbowl.

SPEAKERS

Special Agent Michael Melcher has been with the FBI for over 18 years. As a street agent, he worked numerous violations and was assigned to Chicago, Washington DC, Sioux Falls, and Minneapolis.

Gregory Boosalis has over thirty two years of legal and FBI law enforcement experience. He has a proven track as a Special Agent Investigator, Supervisory Special Agent, Security Officer and Legal Counsel. Mr. Boosalis joined the FBI as a Special Agent assigned to the FBI Milwaukee Division, White Collar Crime Squad.

Sean Boylan is a retired FBI Special Agent, having completed over 31 years of service and was the InfraGard Coordinator for the Minneapolis FBI Division from 2009 – 2011. As a Special Agent, he investigated Counterintelligence matters, foreign espionage activities, and conducted Violent Crime/Bank Robbery Investigations.

Shane Zahn is the Director of Safety Initiatives with the Minneapolis Downtown Improvement District The Minneapolis Downtown Improvement District(DID). Prior to working for DID, Shane worked for Target Corporation as an executive in Assets Protection.
